In Indore, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated a new 128-slice CT scan machine at MGM Medical College’s Super Specialty Hospital and unveiled a newly constructed (G+2) block at the Government Dental College, built at a cost of around Rs 6 crore. The advanced equipment, donated by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, will greatly enhance the hospital's diagnostic capabilities. Yadav officially opened the CT scan room by cutting the ribbon and offered prayers, receiving a detailed overview of the new machine and its features. The newly constructed building, addressing space issues highlighted by the Dental Council of India, was constructed by the Public Works Department. Additionally, the state government is installing an OPG machine and 75 dental chair units at the dental college through the Madhya Pradesh Public Health Corporation, benefiting undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as outpatients. Chief Minister Yadav emphasized that these new medical facilities underscore the government's dedication to improving healthcare services. He highlighted that the advanced CT scan machine will aid in early disease detection and precise diagnoses, while the new building at the dental college will provide world-class facilities for dental students. During his visit to Indore, Yadav toured the MR-10 ISBT, set to open by December. He announced that Indore is poised to become home to India's largest inter-state bus terminal, designed as a state-of-the-art facility resembling an airport, which will be a notable addition to the state's infrastructure.In anticipation of the upcoming Simhastha religious gathering, a newly constructed 15-acre facility has been completed at a cost of Rs 101 crore by IDA. This terminal is expected to greatly improve the travel experience for passengers, with the capacity to accommodate up to 80,000 passengers daily and 1,440 buses round the clock. The Integrated State Bus Terminal (ISBT) will be equipped with 14 ticket counters, a 1,000-vehicle parking facility, 43 bus platforms, a VIP lounge, a food court, and various other amenities. Additionally, the Chief Minister inaugurated a library at Holkar Science College. He reassured employees at the Sanchi Dairy Plant in Indore that there will be no job cuts, emphasizing the government's commitment to enhancing the state's dairy sector and supporting dairy cooperatives. During a separate event, the CM unveiled a statue of martyr Amrita Devi Bishnoi in the city forest, honoring her and her community's environmental protection efforts. In Indore, the CM received blessings from Praman Sagar Maharaj and learned about the 'Health of Indore Campaign', which has conducted blood tests for approximately 50,000 individuals.
